WMC Takes Down Whitehall

By Tyler Ray | Dec 13, 2025 8:43 AM

The game opened in Whitehall’s favor as they jumped out to an early lead. WMC responded in the second quarter, battling back to take a 26–23 advantage into halftime. Whitehall continued to hang tough with strong defensive pressure and knocked down several critical shots in the fourth quarter. Eventually, WMC found its rhythm in transition, creating easier scoring opportunities. Madie Folkema calmly converted free throws down the stretch to give the Warriors the lead for good. From the coach Ray: “Whitehall did a tremendous job limiting our offense tonight. They played great interior defense and forced our guards into tough shots. We stayed the course and kept competing until things finally started to fall our way. I’m proud of our effort, but I also want to make sure Whitehall gets the recognition they deserve. They’re a physical team that plays hard from start to finish. Madie Folkema led with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Eveline Derdowski had 9 points with 4 assists.
