The Warriors battled White Cloud on Wednesday night in a game that stayed tight from the opening tip. Both teams traded stops early, with the Warriors struggling and falling behind 8–4 after the first quarter. By halftime, White Cloud still had a slim lead at 16–13. After the break, the Warriors found their rhythm. Turning up the defensive intensity and pushing the pace, they surged ahead to take a 36–34 lead heading into the final quarter. From there, they delivered their strongest stretch of the night—executing on both ends of the floor and closing out the game with poise to earn a 50–42 victory. Madie Folkema was dominant, scoring 21 of her 30 points in the second half while adding 13 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 assists. It was a true team effort as well, with eight different Warriors contributing on offense and scoring. "The game didn't start the way we wanted it to but the girls hung in and trusted each other. I am proud of the resiliency and effort that we had in the 2nd half. We have plenty to work on but it was a great team win." -Coach Ray
