WMC wasted no time asserting control in their matchup against Hesperia, opening the game with four quick three-pointers to set the tone. The Warriors’ fast start propelled them to a commanding 26–2 lead at the end of the first quarter. The momentum carried into the second period as WMC’s defensive pressure continued to fuel their offense. Forcing turnovers and pushing the pace, the Warriors went into halftime with a comfortable 42–9 advantage. The second half brought more of the same. WMC’s tenacious defense created multiple steals, and the offense continued to convert on the other end. When the final buzzer sounded, the Warriors had secured a dominant 68–17 victory. “It was great to see our team shoot confidently. I challenged our post players to be dominant inside and they responded well. We had everyone who dressed for the game score tonight, which is always a great accomplishment,” the coaching staff noted after the win. Madie Folkema delivered a standout performance, impacting the game on both ends with 25 points, a career-high 14 steals, and 8 rebounds. Maddy Sytsema recorded her first career double-double, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Eveline Derdowski added a strong all-around effort as well, contributing 14 points, 6 steals, and 4 assists.
