On Saturday, the Lady Warriors competed at Cedar Springs High School. The team gave it their all on the mat and showed major improvement from their first competition—not only in their scores, but also in their overall confidence and team coordination. The competition included teams of various levels, ranging from youth squads to varsity programs. Although it was a long day, the girls stayed focused and continued to give their best effort in every round. In round one, the Warriors significantly increased their score from the first competition by applying judges’ feedback and making necessary adjustments. In round two, they nearly doubled their score, demonstrating strong timing, clean motions, and improved execution of their skills. Finally, in round three, after a demanding day and a few challenges along the way, the Warriors went out and left everything they had on the mat. With determination, teamwork, and heart, the Lady Warriors showed just how much they’ve grown and how much potential they have moving forward.
