Varsity vs Kenowa Hills High School (6 - 2) Win! At 1 Singles, Junior Ava Post took the first set 7-5, then quickly finished the the second set 6-1. At 2 Singles, Junior Sophia Fries battled through a tight match, narrowly losing 5-7, 4-6. At 3 Singles, Sophomore Hadley Noonan won a close first set 6-4, then easily won the second set 6-1. At 4 Singles, Senior Drew Coleman forced her opponent into a first set tiebreaker, losing the set by a slim 6-7 margin. She fought hard in the second set, but came up short, losing 3-6. Our returning 1 Doubles team, Seniors Annalise Bonnema and Meaghan Van Bruggen, defeated their opponents 6-2, 6-1. At 2 Doubles, Seniors Mia De Jonge and Evie Zenz, defeated their opponents 6-3, 6-0. At 3 Doubles, Junior Elisabeth Kenny and Sophomore Linnea Larson won the first set 6-1. They faced a tougher challenge in the second and rallied to win that set 6-4. At 4 Doubles, Seniors Audrey Kingshott and Lauren Olsen quickly defeated their opponents 6-2, 6-1.
