Varsity vs Whitehall Senior High School (3 - 5) Loss Our girls varsity tennis team hosted Whitehall Wednesday. It was a challenging day on the courts, but our players persevered and had some close matches. Our winning matches were all decided in third set tiebreakers. Our 4 Singles and 3 Doubles flights both defeated players they lost to earlier in the season. Overall, our players showed growth and won more games compared to our previous matches with a strong Whitehall team. At 4 Singles, senior Drew Coleman lost the first set 4-6, but continue to fight and took the second set 6-4 and the third set tiebreaker 11-9. At 3 Doubles, sophomore Linnea Larson and senior Kasey Folkema lost the first set in a set tiebreak, 6-7, then won the second set 6-3 and the third set tiebreaker 10-9. Our 4 Doubles team, seniors Audrey Kingshott and Lauren Olsen persisted through a tight match, winning the first set in a set tiebreaker 7-6 then taking second set 7-5.
