EAST LANSING - The Warriors opened their pre-season soccer campaign with a strong performance and 1-0 win over Division 1 East Lansing on Thursday. Carter Heimiller provided the game-winning goal with just more than 10 minutes left in the match, collecting a corner kick from Braedon Hoffman and firing a low shot between the Spartans' goalkeeper and a defender.
